A charming detached three storey late 17th Century cottage. An entrance hall leads into the lounge which leads into a beautiful lantern conservatory dining room and a fully fitted kitchen.
Twin bedded room on the first floor , separate large bathroom with shower cubicle, bath and WC. On the second floor; a twin bedded room with en-suite shower and WC, and a third bedroom with a double-bed.

We have been back yet again, that says it all really.We have stayed at Hemphaye 4 or 5 times over the last few years, we have also stayed at Magnolia and Cherry Tree. We wouldn’t keep coming back if we weren’t completely satisfied.
Everything has been thought of, all is of the highest quality and nothing is too much trouble for Selwyn and Geoffrey.
We have had a super week and we have booked next year for a fortnight which we are looking forward too already.
Absolutely superb! We have stayed in Hemphaye Spring, Autumn and Winter and couldn’t ask for anything better. Every facility and comfort including all day warmth in Winter and beautiful gardens in the sunny months. Have just returned home from our latest visit and already booked again for next Spring.
We have just returned after our fiftth vist to our little haven!!!! This time it was Hemphaye fot the second time. Our previous stays have been to Magnolia and Courthaye all superb. We are already looking forward to our next visit in July to Cherry Tree.
Well done Selwyn and Geoffrey for maintaining such a superb standard.

We have been regular visitors to Littlecourt Cottages once or twice every year since they opened in 2000. We are repeatedly drawn back by the superior standard of the comfortable accommodation, the tranquil nature of the attracive and immaculate gardens and the unfailingly generous welcome of Selwyn and Geoff.
Anyone seeking the perfect base from which to explore this wonderful part of England need look no further
Feb 19th -24th. A calm relaxing holiday in comfortable & peaceful surroundings. Even the weather couldn’t spoil it. Thank you all.
16-22nd April
We have stayed in Sidmouth many times and this is truly a lovely spot, away from the maddening crowd but within walking distance of everything. Beautifully maintained, a fantastic cottage. We have been very comfortable and have enjoyed ourselves immensely.

We have visited Littlecourt several times in the last few years, mainly in Hemphaye. The cottage is all you could wish for. A jewel in the crown that is Sidmouth.
Selwyn and Geoff are great hosts and we look forward to staying there again latter this year.

Fourth cottage down and one to go. Hemphaye is as comfortable as all the other cottages in the complex and we have had a wonderful week as ever. It was lovely to be able to introduce two more people to the delights of Littlecourt & Sidmouth. Will be back soon.

We have tried very hard to find something to improve here but we can’t. The cottage is so comfortable & tastefully fitted, and to be surrounded by the lovely gardens an added bonus. We will hopefully be back next year. What a wonderfully comfortable double bed, I wish I could take it back with me! ‘Sue’

We have rebooked for the fifth year and intend to continue coming to Hemphaye and Littlecourt Cottages for a long time yet. Selwyn and Geoffrey are very welcoming. The cottage is lovely and it is like coming home each year. We would recommend it.

Nothing changes. We have been coming to Littlecourt Cottages for a number of years, mainly in Hemphaye. Everything is so well appointed it is really home from home. If anything it gets better each year.

Thank you for the wonderful stay our family had in your cottages Christmas 2011. we found everything in Hemphay Cottage to be of a very high standard and very clean the cottage was decorated for the festivities in an excellant way and both Selwyn and Geoff were very welcoming and helpful.
