Built originally as a Victorian addition to Littlecourt. An entrance hall leads to a large lounge, dining room and kitchen.
There is a ground floor bedroom with twin beds and an en-suite walk in shower cubicle and WC. On the first floor are a further two bedrooms, each with a double bed and an-suite shower room and WC.

MAGNOLIA COTTAGE is spacious, attractively furnished and always spotlessly clean. It is “luxury” in the true sense, something many claim but few attain! The location is perfect, situated within beautifully kept peaceful gardens, yet within minutes of the town and sea. We have stayed here many times over the past 9 years. The welcome is always friendly and the cottage warm and inviting. Our feelings remain the same as they were after our first visit. We just cannot wait to return to this glorious area and in particular, Magnolia Cottage!
We have stayed in MAGNOLIA COTTAGE for the last 5 years and look forward to another visit in 2011. The cottages are ideally located for the town, restaurants and the beach and are set in beautiful gardens. MAGNOLIA is very well equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay and has the additional benefit of ground floor en suite bedroom. We have never stayed anywhere that is so consistently spotlessly clean and well furnished. The hosts Selwyn and Geoff are very welcoming and are always helpful with advice about local facilities and events.
Everything great, we had such an enjoyable time. Many thanks for such a tranquil place, a gem!
I’m back again. Just cannot keep away as Selwyn & Geoff do such a wonderful job and make Magnolia Cottage feel just like home. We have had another great week. As ever thank you both.

Just returned from another great week in Magnolia. Selwyn and Geoffrey have yet again been busy since our last visit, installing a new cooker and hob, new mattresses and smart little clock radios in all bedrooms, to name but a few. It is this attention to detail and the cleanliness of everything that make these cottages stand apart from the rest! We especially like its own little front patio garden where we can sit in blissful peace, together with its resident Backbird. After resting, coastal footpaths on either side of town take you through some beautiful Devon countryside. Sidmouth is unlike any other seaside town we’ve visited. Littlecourt Cottages are unlike any other self-catering cottage we’ve stayed in! This really is “Heaven by the sea”.

I can only echo what previous guests have commented. Beautiful cottage in heavenly surroundings. Very obliging owners for whom nothing seems too much trouble. Sidmouth is a lovely town, and the cottage really is only five minutes walk to the sea front.
Another very enjoyable week in Magnolia Cottage with beautiful gardens giving such a pleasant environment. Thanks to Selwyn & Geoffrey for all they do to maintain such a high standard of accommodation.

Thank you once again for two fantastic weeks at Littlecourt. You always make us feel so welcome. Magnolia is a very beautiful holiday home, which we never want to leave. We look forward to seeing you next year.
Our first visit to very special accommodation – so glad we found you! As always, the September weather didn’t fail and we’ve had a magical week. It’s very hard to head home- especially after such a warm welcome. Stunning gardens in a beautiful setting – we’re taking several ideas away with us. We hope to return again soon. Thank you both for making us feel so at home.
